Any Given Doomsday opens Lori Handeland’s Phoenix series, a sexy, first-person urban fantasy. Handeland’s Any Given Doomsday was a compelling read that wouldn’t let me put it down as I raced to the end. When I finished this book, I was very glad I had already purchased the second of the series, because I quickly needed another fix of this intriguing, perilous world.

I agree with the other first person comments. The last one I read was by Gena Showalter and I LOVED it, so I will definitely be checking this one out.
