If you believe in Happily Ever After, this is the book for you. Bed of Roses, Book Two in the Bride Quartet Series, features the story of Emma Grant, the florist and one of the founders of Vows, the wedding planning company run by four childhood friends.

In keeping with our February blog theme of Fairy Tales, this book is pure fantasy. Emma, the most romantic of the four friends, wakes up and smells the roses when she starts dating family friend Jack Cooke. But things get thorny when she discovers that Jack has problems with commitment.

This is one of those books you never want to end. Luckily, Books Three and Four will be released in May and November. For me, that’s entirely too long to wait. Nora Roberts creates characters you feel you know and want to know, for a very satisfying read.

I try to inject humor into everything I write, from romantic suspense to women’s fiction. I like to laugh and I think my readers do too. I tend to feature older heroines, because let’s face it, we’re not getting any younger.

Don't stop there. Try...

I’m glad to see that you liked this one. I just bought the 1st two in this series and put the third on pre-order.

I’ve read this one and I agree. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the first two and can’t wait for the last two to be released.

      Thanks for the review.

Another set I need to add to my pile. I saw the first one in the store when it came out and passed it by because I HATE to wait for the rest in a series. With the close release dates I might not get to upset about the wait.

Okay, you convinced me. I’ll grab them.

      Thanks, Marilyn!

This new series sounds wonderful. And the covers give me goosebumps. Nothing like a gorgeous wedding gown to spark my interest. And if it’s Nora, well, you know how I feel about her… Thanks for the review, Marilyn!

No one does friendships, male and female, like Nora!

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I think we all agree that Nora Roberts is great. I don’t know how she does it, but I’m glad she keeps doing what she does. Here are my predictions for the next two books. Laurel ends up with Del and Parker with Mal. What do you all think?

Hey, no spoilers, please! I haven’t read the first one yet. LOL

Gannon, I agree. Her JD Robb books with Eve and Roarke are keepers for me. I can’t believe she’s on something like book 33 in that series and it’s still going strong. Now THAT’S writing characters which reader’s identify with and love!
