Baring It All by Sandra Chastain

Romance
If you’re looking for another reason to take Sandra Chastain’s advice, look up her novel Baring It All. An investigative reporter has to pay her dues by covering a high-price benefit performance by an enigmatic local male stripper named Lord Sin. She wants to prove herself by discovering his true identity; he is helplessly drawn to her despite the fact she could destroy his carefully crafted new public persona.
In the midst of this great conflict, Chastain weaves in enough sensuous detail that I’m surprised my copy doesn’t exu2de smoke. You’ll also be treated to local landmarks, a bee sting in an unfortunate location, a charming subplot romance between a former stripper and a minister, and an impromptu strip tease. I’d tell you more, but you’re just going to have to read it.
From a writer’s standpoint, you can see why the Temptation version of Baring It All from 2000 was rereleased in 2005: this book is chock full of GMC. Pay attention, too, to the specific detail and careful characterization. There are a few new copies on Amazon, but, unfortunately, most of the copies available are used. GRW members, I challenge you to read this book and then not blush the next time you say hello to Sandra Chastain!

I really like the picture on the cover of this book…grin…
I’ve heard people talk about this one a lot. Now that I’ve read your glowing review of both the book and Sandra’s abilities with GMC, I’m going to have to find myself a copy. Thanks for the review, Sally!

No way. I have to read this. Somehow, I’ve only read Sandra’s Mossy Creek stories. Had NO idea she had such spunk in her! Sandra a hot tamale? Cool!

Oh, Sally, Sally, Sally. I think you need to write a story about a girl who tries to learn to pole dance and has to hire a male tutor . . .
