Sorry to respond this morning instead of yesterday. The trip to Atlanta ended up taking longer than I expected. But all is well and I have my house back to myself again…grin…

Ana, this story is so heart touching, as well as heart wrenching. I feel for them both. Thank you for participating. I love your take on the photo. (and great job on adding a touch of Hot Tamale to it.)

Hi Susan. This was exactly my first thought on the story. I could totally see it happening, too. Thanks for sharing this story!

Tooooo funny, Maxine! Never thought of that.

Thanks for participating yesterday, ladies! I had a lot of fun and I’ll definitely be sharing your story ideas with the happy couple!

Ron and Sara's parents refused to let me marry so young. They knew their love was to big to hold back. On their way to the next county to see the old judge their car broke down, but they refuse to give up. They are waiting on a ride.

Don’t cry, Karenina whispered under her breath as she leaned the length of her body into Zach’s back, hoping against hope that he’d change his mind. The last two months seemed to have raced at breakneck speed, like a shooting star that lit the sky only to disappear into the darkness of night. He’d appeared in her life at a time when she’d thought there was nothing more to live for—and he’d given her a reason to be.

Somehow, she’d sensed last night that it would be their last. Without a word, his gentle hands and tender kisses touched her heart as he worshipped her body, while his slate-blue eyes took in her response to his ministrations. Never had she been loved so thoroughly, so selflessly. Without a care for his own needs, he’d wrapped her in his brawny embrace, cocooning her as if he knew she’d need the memory of this night to carry her through the rest of her life.

A shiny black car appeared in the distance. His inhale broke for a second, then resumed deep and strong. Turning in her embrace, he pulled her into his arms and dropped a kiss on her forehead. “I’ll call you when I get back,” he whispered.

She didn’t have the nerve to say what they both knew. If he made it out alive.

Thanks, Tami! This is the most writing I've done for pleasure since I started back for my master's degree!

Sandy, it's the white shirt and as Anna S mentioned the faded photo of a church bulletin. Anna, that had me cracking up.

Thanks for stopping by today, Marilyn! And thanks for taking a look at my blog. I do really love Jasmine and Erich’s story. I would tell more but I was trying to stay in my space limit…grin…

Love the blurb, Sally! I love the idea of him playing for the Smokies. I can see Erich doing this.

Hey Anna. Great story. I like that idea of redeeming someone. I agree that the slightly faded look of the picture could look like a church’s bulletin.

Thanks for commenting, ladies! I’ll be back later tonight. I’m headed to Atlanta to take my mommy back to the airport…grin…
